About Me:
I am committed to improve student involvement in SfAA as student vice-president (2011-2012) and president (2012-2013).
My MA research was an outcome-evaluation of a previous applied anthropology tree-planting project that was designed, vetted, and overseen by anthropologists.
My dissertation research focuses on Haitian tree farmers. I hope to create predictive models/equations by exploring Haitian farmers’ cultural, social, economic, spatial, and/or ecological reasons for farming trees or retaining small pockets of forested land.
