About Me:
I am an associate Professor at the Brown School of Social Work at Washington University in St. Louis. My research interests are in poverty, property rights, and pastoralism in East Africa and I have worked in Kenya for more than 20 years. I have also worked in the field of participatory community development in Kenya and Madagascar.
