About Me:
I'm currently finishing my dissertation on "The Impact of Violence Against Women on Concepts of Gender in Chihuahua City, Mex" for a Ph.D. in Medical Anthroplogy at Case Western. I lam ucky enough to have found a question that will take a career to begin to answer: How is violence implicated in the construction of social actors? I have studied this question with sexually abused women and with women who live under the threat of feminicide and plan to begin researching sexual abuse and harassment among women serving in the military as soon as I get this dissertation out of the way.
