About Me:
I recently completed my PhD at Stanford and want to transition into consulting. My current research and consulting services focus on the use of space (homes, businesses, cities, cars), social network analysis (decision-making flows and strategies), workplace analysis (corporate transition, conflict resolution), new product research and implementation; specifically, I am interested in human-centered product development and cross-cultural assessments of technology products.
I have researched how people use, organize and negotiate spaces, which areas they feel comfortable in, and which areas people may avoid and the reasons for these behaviors. My research includes: shopping habits, and technology product usage among urban professionals. I am interested in lifestyles of city dwellers, the use of internet shopping and the lifestyle choices of professionals from a range of cultural backgrounds. I have strong project management, interpersonal, sales and administrative skills that are a useful complement to my anthropological training.
I look forward to networking and supporting other anthropologists who are interested in consulting, STS and am eager to share ideas about applied anthropology.
