About Me:
Christine Morton is a sociologist whose research has focused on roles in maternity care, including the emerging role of the doula, or labor support provider, and childbirth educators. She received funding from Lamaze International to do an ethnographic study of childbirth education from 2005-2007. Christine is committed to improving maternity care through both research and policy.
