About Me:
I am a professional journalist who works full time as a staff producer for NBC News.
I started working full time in the broadcast industry in 1995 and am currently a National Producer for NBC’s affiliate feed service, News Channel, based in Charlotte, North Carolina. In this role, I write and edits stories for the network and affiliate stations across the world. I also, on frequent occasion, voice packages for affiliates, the Internet and MSNBC’s cable programming.
In 2012 I graduated from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BA in Cultural Anthropology. Currently I am looking at several graduate programs.
My areas of interest include: Neuroaesthetics, Visual Culture, Culinary Anthropology, Globalization and the Media.
