Applied Anthropologist in trancultural psychiatry, mental health, youth care and vocational education.
Developed (and published partly in English) an applicable body of knowledge in life-phase transitions (rites of passage, liminal spaces) and bridging emic (patients/citizens) and etic (researchers/professional) worlds. www.ctt.nl.
Cooperates closely with (forensic) psychiatric and systemic therapy professionals in further developing apllicable concepts/models.
Performs PhD research on succesful coming of age of 30 young men in Tthe Netherlands.
