About Me:
I am a non-traditional undergraduate senior and Waring Scholar at the University of West Georgia, as well as an aspiring PhD candidate with experience serving and researching IDP populations in Haiti. I have provided construction management services in Iraq and worked 15 years as a real estate development entrepreneur. I can rebuild a 20,000W diesel generator, create and present a Power Point presentation on international development to a room full of eager minds, or write a weekly newspaper column critiquing national & world affairs. I have a passion for writing, but even more, I want to one day apply academic theories to issues affecting people's lives and deliver outcomes which improve them.
