About Me:
I am a visual artist and art educator turned anthropologist. I completed my MFA at Howard University, taught art for several years then returned to complete doctoral studies in Visual Anthropology.
Fighting injustice and preparing students with a sound education are my passions next to investigating anything to do with the visual or creative form.
I focus on Visual Culture and Diaspora studies concentrating on Art as agent for protest against social injustice.
