About Me:
I'm an environmental anthropologist with an emphasis on food systems, agroforestry, and ethnobotany. My main geographic areas have been the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Indonesia for fieldwork, but I've studied and contributed to projects in many other countries. My interests and research are broad. I have worked on wild foods, organic farming, human rights, environmental justice, stewardship, TEK, common pool resources, biodiversity and nontimber forest products, community-based natural resource management and many other topics. I am currently working on a long-term study Willamette River cultures.
