Taught most of my career at U of Minn Mpls, department chair twice, helped found
Dept of American Indian Studies 1969, retired 2002. Fieldwork: Highland Maya, Chiapas, Mexico; Central Mexico; Ojibwe, northern Minnesota. Spouse: Cynthia A Cone, taught at Hamline U, St Paul, 29 years, dept chair 17 years. Somehow we have ended up with 10 grandchildren, all above average, as eminent Minnesotan Garrison Keillor would say.
