About Me:
I am a professor of anthropology at East Carolina University. I have interests in medical and psychological anthropology. Most recently I have conducted research on breast cancer support groups, community-based health interventions for cancer, and special health needs of the rural elderly. I do work in eastern North Carolina and have also conducted research in Mexico, Costa Rica and Panama.
