About Me:
I am a cultural anthropologist. My work is in various forms of public opinion research including consumer, energy, environmental, and most recently, in the sharing and collaborative economy. I am learning how to create apps for mobile technology that will help people make use of excess capacity. My attention has been focused on inequalities in US cities and on the movement of large groups of migrants in the two years, in Europe. That practical focus leads me to examine closely the anthropological theory on exchange that has served well in the last century of capitalism, but does not serve the contemporary conditions.
