I'm in the MA program in anthro. at Columbia and am applying to the TC applied program? How has your experience there been? I have already taken several classes in the TC AA department--my impression is that I'll find I still need more intensive ethnographic training--especially in a way that capitalizes off of the digital era. I have been playing around with getting some funding to do an intensive ethnographic field school type program over a weekend for NYC grad students. Do you think students in your program would attend or would they feel they've had that area sufficiently covered in their AA program?
