About Me:
I am working at the intersection of disaster management and aging studies, exploring how community dwelling families respond to emergency preparedness and disaster planning while simultaneously providing care for family members with Alzheimer’s Disease. I have done Socio-legal research in intentional communities (Camphill Communities) based on the care of individuals with developmental disabilities in both Germany and the United States. I completed both a second Masters in Public Health and PhD in Applied Bio-medical Anthropology at the University of South Florida.
