About Me:
I am a socio-cultural linguist at Grand Valley State University. My research focuses on identity, gender, and language ideologies in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and among Nepali-Bhutanese in West Michigan. I teach a range of linguistics courses including sociolinguistics, language and gender, and language and power.
