About Me:
I am attempting to transition from studying theology and phenomenology to studying the cultural roots of phenomenology as exemplified by differing expressions of empathy.
In the meantime, I am working on a residential child/adolescent unit at a community mental health center with severely emotionally disturbed youth. One continuous strand between my academic trajectory and the work I do is building empathy skills with the residents I work with.
