About Me:
I am an anthropologist of sport currently investigating the role playing futbol(soccer) has in the lives of Mexicano migrants. Playing futbol gives Mexicano migrant men opportunities to socially network, build stronger communities, maintain mental and physical health, and to bolster thier sense of Mexican-ness while living in the United States. I have a MA from San Diego State University and attend the University of Oklahoma PhD program in anthropology.
