About Me:
Originally trained as a cultural anthropologist, I am now a professor of sociology in Nebraska. I work on issues of rural addiction including alcohol use / suicide in the US and Canadian Arctic and injection drug use / HIV in Puerto Rico. My research covers both applied (intervention and prevention work) and general cultural theory.
