I'm a doctoral student in medical anthropology at the University of Arizona. I'm now studying the effects of temporary humanitarian aid clinics and recurrent disaster on local medical systems, medical rumor, and transnational flows of pharmaceutical pills in the Somali Region of Ethiopia. I've worked at UNICEF on and off, and have a Masters in foreign policy & nutrition from Tufts. I also work at the College of Medicine on integrative medicine and clinical research methodologies.
