About Me:
Lauren Franklin is a community-based researcher. She is currently the Research Coordinator for the Mendocino-Humboldt-UCSF (MHU) Collaborative, which integrates academic knowledge with community-based resource centers to provide decision support for cancer patients. She has a BA in Anthropology. Her work has been presented at the Society for Applied Anthropology, Society for Medical Decision Making, California Breast Cancer Research Program, and the Rural Health Research Network. She lives in coastal, Northern California.
