About Me:
My research area, which now covers an expanse of 43 years, is in Saraguro Ecuador, located in the southern highlands. I retired from teaching at the University of Minnesota Duluth in January 2006, and am now adjunct professor at Michigan Tech University, where I previously (1974-88) taught and served (1984-88) as Dean of Students.
