About Me:
I have a bilingual K-12 teaching credential, was in Peace Corps for 3 years in the Central African Republic, did graduate studies at the University of Paris-X (Nanterre), worked as a medical anthropologist on an HIV-AIDS project for two years in Guinea Bissau, now teach at Missouri State University. I go regularly to Guinea-Bissau and central Mexico, where I observe social, economic, and environmental effects of globalization. In Springfield, MO, I've worked for 20 years with Mexican immigrants, and volunteer, for the past three years, at a homeless shelter.
