About Me:
Dr. Beebe has over twenty years experience in global development in a wide-range of sectors, including higher education, telecommunications, environment, natural resources and agriculture, primary health care, and small enterprise development. She has extensive experience in building the capacity of development partners to analyze the development challenge, develop strategic plans, use logframes and results frameworks, manage and monitor results, integrate gender, balance social and environmental concerns with economic issues, leverage resources, and, do impact assessments. She has led professional teams in program development, project design, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of a wide range of sectoral and cross-cutting projects and programs. While her work is informed by analysis of past experience, literature review, participatory research, and stakeholder consultations, she has the ability to look at issues from a fresh viewpoint and can look at old methods in new, creative ways. She has conducted stakeholder consultations with government, private sector, universities, and NGOs. Her expertise includes using the Internet for knowledge exchanges, learning partnerships, and effective teaching and learning. From 2006-2009, she was Chief of Party for a $12 million Afghan eQuality Alliances Project, which included innovative partnerships and global development alliances. Dr. Beebe regularly shares lessons learned through reflection on action and scholarly papers presented at international conferences.
