About Me:
I have an undergraduate degree in Hospitality Business Management from Washington State University and a Masters in Business Administration and Doctorate in Leadership Studies from Gonzaga University. Prior to academics, I worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years, the past 25 in management. This career has spanned both the commercial and non-commercial segments including 17 years with Sodexo. I have lectured at Washington State University’s College of Business, Gonzaga University’s Jepson School of Business Administration and the School of Professional Studies where I am the Director of Distributive Learning. I have done development work for a Spokane, Washington non-profit group, and conduct workshops for the Small Business Development Center. In the fall of 2007, I spent a semester as a visiting lecturer at University of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. I reside in Liberty Lake, WA with his wife, Chan, and son, John.
