About Me:
Although an archaeologist by training, I am currently teaching anthropology in a department of occupational therapy in west Kysuhu, Japan. My main interests are northern hunter-gatherers, bioarchaeology and the anthropology of occupation. One current project looks at Ainu occupations and landscapes in the Shiretoko national park and World Heritage site in Hokkaido, northern Japan.
