About Me:
Misha is a third year graduate student in feminist cultural
Anthropology. Her MA was based on fieldwork conducted in Ireland in 2008 with NGOs and the migrants they seek to assist. Prior to coming to the University of Iowa, she worked at the Minneapolis-based Center for Victims of Torture and spent seven years as project manager for American RadioWorks, a national public radio documentary production team. Misha’s current work is focused on migration, NGOs, human rights, citizenship, identity, gender and cultural change.
