About Me:
Patricia G. Lange is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Annenberg Center for Communication at the University of Southern California. She received her Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Michigan. Her research interests include technical identity performance, online communication, social network creation through video sharing, and human experience of place. On the MacArthur-Funded Digital Youth project, Lange studies the semiotics of video creation, sharing, and production on YouTube and in the video blogging community. Lange has been studying online interaction since 1998.
