About Me:
Dr. Rachel Carmen Ceasar is a medical anthropologist and public health researcher and educator. She is interested in the social determinants of health and conducts community centered, mixed-methods research. Her research interests include chronic pain management among patients with substance use histories, humanitarian aid in post-conflict recovery, public health HIV/AIDS and TB interventions for agricultural workers, and workplace wellness. She has worked on multiple collaborative and interdisciplinary projects in the U.S., Mexico, Spain, Morocco, and South Africa.
