About Me:
I have been involved with a variety of academic and employment experiences which contribute to my career development. My academic experiences range from a BA in Anthropology to many years of data collection in Archaeological research, and my experiences in the medical field extend from animal model research, through course work in Clinical Nursing and many years of patient care, culminating in Head Injury and HIV/AIDS clinical trial research and program coordination. Further, other experiences gained from graduate level course work and research experience with community development projects while studying medical social work, as well as receiving certification as an HIV/AIDS researcher/educator, have provided me a broad base for working in the social sciences. In all of these experiences I have been guided by the holistic and community oriented principles learned through experiences at the Native American Indian Center of Columbus, Ohio.
