About Me:
I have been lecturing anthropology in South Africa for the past decade and I am a 'specialist' of the southwest Indian Ocean region (Mauritius, Zanzibar, Comoros and Seychelles), where I have been researching poverty, heritage management and gender identity. I have published two books, Le Malaise Creole - Ethnic Identity in Mauritius and Challenges to the Management of Intangible Cultural Heritage in Mauritius, Seychelles and Zanzibar. A few of my papers are available on educational databases. I'm married and have three lovely kids.
