I am an anthropologist and researcher with the Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care (CIVIC) housed at the Portland VA Medical Center. Previously I directed the Qualitative Core at the Center for Comprehensive Access & Delivery Research and Evaluation (CADRE), Iowa City VA Health Care System.
