About Me:
I am currently working as a consultant in the Baltimore-Washington area, specializing in writing and editing in international health. I was managing editor for the Demographic and Health Surveys (DHS) program for more than 20 years. I have a doctorate in urban and applied anthropology, areas that are my first love. In the distant past I spent four years in archaeology at the University of Michigan (once an archaeologist always and archaeologist). If you need an editor to review a paper before sending it for publication, consider contacting me (smoore@accutext.com).
