About Me:
I received my MA in Anthropology from California State University Long Beacj, and my thesis "Health Care Seeking Behavior in Rural Soconusco, Chiapas, Mexico" has been published by Lambard Academic Publishing. Other research interests include traditional healing practices, cultural environmentalism, salvage ethnography, belly dancing (raqs sharki) and national identity.
