I am an applied and medical anthropologist and a Visiting Scholar at Institute for Medcial Humanities, University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. My research is on comparaitve health and mental health systems, the nursing profession in Hong Kong, transnational history of medical and health,professions in Central Europe and U.S. (with Gordon Lurie). .
