About Me:
I'm a doctoral student in Clinical and Population Health Research at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. My research interests include Latino health disparities, specifically mental health, sexual health, and chronic illnesses. I'm also interested in community-based participatory research as a collaborative solution-seeking approach with those most affected by health inequities. Coming from the same community as the populations with whom I seek to work and study, my doctoral training is a step towards an independent, transdisciplinary research career working within academia and communities to promote positive health among Latinos.
