About Me:
I am a medical anthropologist who engages in community-based research with a wide array of social groups, including sex workers, Aboriginal men, women, and youth, and gay men. Using post-colonial and feminist theory my research is directed toward uncovering and understanding the discrepancies between hegemonic discourses of sexuality, gender, and the politics of health and the perspectives and experiences of the people I work with. I love cats, chocolate, and travelling!
