About Me:
Life-long anthropologist, occasionally applied but mostly academic (continuously since 1962!). Responsible for liberal education in humanities and social sciences in a school of nursing and health sciences, where I offer various versions of medical anthropology among other things. Field research in Europe (Portugal especially) and Mexico. Harvard PhD Anthropology with much immersion in the Soc Rel (Social Relations Interdisciplinary Psych-Soc-Anthro) tradition. On sabbatical leave next year (2011-12, finally!).
