About Me:
Doug Reeser holds an MA in anthropology and an MPH in global health, and is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Anthropology at the University of South Florida. He is working on his dissertation research in Belize, examining the intersection of State-provided health care with a number of ethnic-based traditional medicines. Generally, his research has revolved around health, with a particular focus on alternative and traditional health practices, as well as food, diet, and food production. When not engaged with his academic pursuits, Doug enjoys brewing beer (and drinking it too!) and running through the woods.
