Hi Jocelyn, I'm not sure if this is the best way to correspond, but will give it a try. I am just starting to explore resource use in Niger. Over the summer I stayed in and around Bankilare, with black Tuareg millet farmers, who were formerly herders but have lost a lot of livestock over the years. I would love to talk to you sometime about some ideas that formed while I was there. I would also like to hear about where you conduct your research, your major discoveries, and your favorite bibliographic sources. If you have a chance, e-mail me at annikae@email.arizona.edu. Thanks.
