About Me:
I'm a medical and social anthropologist, working towards my Ph.D. at Harvard. My research interests are collective trauma, psycho-social rehabilitation, and humanitarian intervention in Post-Conflict Liberia, as well as other settings. As a secondary interest, I study post-conflict transition of state medical sectors. I was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Cote d'Ivoire, and I'm glad to be a member of the SfAA!

I'm looking at applying to the Harvard social anthropology graduate program. I'd like to talk with you more about your experience with the program there.
That certainly provided the opportunity to observe some changes in social structure, as the wife and children had adapted to life in the states and therefore were filling different roles than they would have "back home".
Have you had any contact with Liberians living in the states?
