Canada has been nailed at least 4 times in the last few years for the way it treats our indigenous peoples. We even had a special UN group come to Canada and see first hand the treatment our people were receiving. I am very frustrated at having no idea of how to change things. The Idle No More Movement will help. Just to quote one fact from the UN observers - half of the Canadian reserves do not have adequate drinking water. One more comment - How would you feel if you had to boil your drinking water every day for more than 10 years?? One final comment - why is our Prime minister so unwilling to hold an inquiry into our missing and murdered women??
