About Me:
I started off in wildlife management and ecology, but crossed into applied anthropology for my dissertation fieldwork on fisheries co-management in Malawi.
I recently started a post-doc doing research and capacity-building in various parts of Africa on fisherfolk livelihood resilience, fisheries management, institutional learning, and adaptation to climate change.
Countries where I currently work: Malawi, Mali, DR Congo, Nigeria; in the past I have also worked in Costa Rica, Germany; Ghana. I live in Egypt.
