About Me:
Edgar Bernardo is an anthropologist with a master degree in economics and holds a PhD in Sociology from ISCTE-IUL and a PhD in Tourism from the University of Aveiro. He is a visiting assistant professor at UTAD, a member of CETRAD, and his research interests focus on tourism and development from an anthropological and sociological perspective. Among the themes recently investigated are cultural heritage and heritage, gastronomy, souvenirs, mobility, responsible tourism, wine tourism and tourism impacts, tourism governance.
