About Me:
I received my Ph.D. from the University of Georgia in environmental anthropology. Currently I am a full professor at Georgia Gwinnett College. I have conducted ethnographic fieldwork in Mexico, New Zealand, Thailand, and the United States. I am primarily interested in issues of development, migration, political ecology, and political economy. For the past decade I have worked in Thailand examining issues surrounding rural-urban migration, state development, and class-structures within domestic mobilities.
