About Me:
I am an award winning community engaged scholar and cultural anthropologist with a focus on migration and remittances, nutrition, food ways, wellbeing and indigenous response to Covid-19 as well as the digital divide. In addition to my long-term research in Mexico and global investigations, I collaborate with the Bhutanese Community of Central Ohio. My students build on this work as we build a better anthropology and decolonize the field.
