About Me:
I am recent graduate of Juniata College (PA) with a BS in Cultural Studies and Social Complexity. After graduation, I moved to Alaska working as a Mental Health Technician at a residential youth facility and a language interpreter for the Fairbanks school district. When I am not working, I enjoy learning computer programming and French. I also spend a lot of my time to paint and study for the GRE.
My interests are: Cultural Anthropology, Social Anthropology, Sociology, Geology, Geography, Human RIghts, Capitalism, Social Movements/Social Change, Sub-cultures, Education, Anthropology of Food (and Beer), HIV/AIDs, Gender and Sexualities.
I have interests in the fellowing regions:
Asia (Hong Kong, China, Japan), Australia and NZ, North America (Alaska, Canada, lower 48), Iceland, the UK, and Amazon.
I have recently presented my research projects at Juniata College.
