About Me:
I am a PhD student in Anthropology at the University of Durham in England, where I am researching domestic abuse dynamics and helpseeking behaviours/interactions in a Polish migrant context in the UK.
I am working with a number of charitable and service institutions as of October 2013, when my fieldwork begins, where data will be analysed from sociocultural, phenomenological, structural/legal and human rights perspectives. My current research interests centre particularly on the notion of 'vulnerability' in relation to domestic abuse, and it's implications as both a statistical expression and a lived, existential experience.
