Hi there,
My name is Catherine Mitchell Fuentes and I am a senior lecturer at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Most of my research from my PhD (from UCONN) to now has been on domestic violence. Since 2008 I have done research on women in jails and how experiences of trauma (particularly DV) can result in pathways to incarceration (e.g., drinking/drugs to cope with PTSD, poor partner selection, etc.). I see that you do work on men in the prisons. There aren't too many of us doing work on incarceration! Please pass my name along to anyone else you may know doing similar work and they can friend me here on SFAA TIG group.
Catherine
