I am a senior lecturer at the University of North Carolina, Charlotte. I have conducted research on numerous facets of domestic violence (DV) over the past 15 years. I have conducted research on long-term health outcomes of DV on STI/HIV risk as well as how experiences of DV may result in pathways to incarceration for women.
